I'm pretty sure if you've found your way to this site, you already know what a fanlisting is and what it hopes to accomplish. But here's the official definition from TFL.org for those who have been living under a rock for the past few years:

"A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. [Fanlistings can also require an email address.] Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans. TFL.org is the original web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans."

This fanlisting is for the first jewel in horse racing's Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby. The Derby is held the first Saturday in May every year at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Derby fanlisting was approved on June 18, 2005 and opened on June 25, 2005. It is listed in the Sports category at TheFanlistings.org under the Equestrian/Horse Racing subcategory.
